Job Description

RRD has strategic goals in place regarding growing the current Robotic Process Automation (RPA) footprint within the organization with a focus on automating tasks that decrease internal costs. The RPA team is uniquely positioned to support the goals while at the same time becoming exposed to multiple mission-critical software applications at RRD. 

 

The RPA team is seeking an intern this Summer that can assist in Quality Assurance (QA) efforts related to RRD’s automation initiatives. Ideal candidates would possess some knowledge and understanding of Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) test cases along with the ability and desire to work closely with the development team to create and execute needed test cases.

Responsibilities 

 

  • Complete on-line Automation Anywhere training program.
  • Work with members of the RPA Team to understand existing automated business processes using RPA.
  • Work closely with the development staff to document test cases that can be used to confirm the developed bot meets the business requirements.
  • Assist in the ongoing process of creating and updating documentation needed to build and support BDD test cases.
  • Follow Agile practices as prescribed by the RPA team and actively participate in Agile activities. 
  • Perform other related duties and participate in work activities as assigned.

 

     

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in a two or four-year degree program pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field from an Accredited University or College.
    • General understanding of BDD testing and the creation of BDD test cases. 
    • Proficient in using Windows 10 and Windows based applications.
    • Organizational and time management skills to handle and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.  
    • Ability to work autonomously and in a small team environment, yet be able and willing to proactively seek out communications that will help further work efforts.
    • Self-starter with initiative to take on new challenges.

    Additional Information

    The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $20.00/ hour.
