Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated career and customer-oriented Digital Engineering Lead III in Glen Burnie, MD. Please note that while this position is in Glen Burnie, the ideal candidate can sit in any ManTech approved facility within the Washington DMV area. 

The Digital Engineering Lead’s primary function is to lead the transition to an interoperable, resilient, and secure Digital Environment by understanding range operations and selecting the best digital technologies to enable the systems lifecycle for NSIN managed projects and dedicated DE instantiation for requesting mission partners. The Digital Engineering Lead III supervises and mentors subordinate project and team ManTech staff.

Performance shall include:

• Participate in special and transformation studies to ensure technologies meet user and mission needs while ensuring affordability, usability, and operational excellence. 
• Knowledgeable of a wide range of production, maintenance, logistics, digital technologies, and have knowledge of the vendors that sell them.
• Manage the risk associated with the transition; leading a team of different digital backgrounds to automate processes, manage knowledge, train staff, and oversee service transitions.
• Must manage costs related to services and tools, ensure security infrastructure operations are compliant with regulations, manage identity access management infrastructure operations as per regulations, oversee cross-domain infrastructure operations according to regulations, lead cybersecurity infrastructure operations in accordance with regulations, direct cybersecurity operations based on regulations, and manage IT audit infrastructure operations as per SOW regulations. 
•  Lead Operators, Data/Metrics/Analytics Teams, and Digital/Delivery Teams to ensure successful completion of the digital transformation process.

Required Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in STEM or a related field and 9 or more years of experience.
• 5 years of position-specific relevant experience.
• A High School Diploma and 13 years of experience or an Associates and 11 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a Degree.

Desired Education and Experience:

• OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) SysML Certifications.
• International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certifications.
• Knowledge of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software applications.
• Understand Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes and methods.
• A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
• A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

Security Clearance:

• Secret Clearance required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
