About The Position

The Efficient Electrification and Product Development Executive is responsible for the identification and development of beneficial electrification programs and new products and services. This position will proactively research potential programs by performing technical, financial, market, and economic analysis. This position will also provide ongoing training and expertise to coworkers, customers and program partners.

**Other Ameren Illinois offices may be considered based upon mutual agreement between hiring leader and successful candidate; Collinsville and Peoria are preferred locations.

Key responsibilities include:

· Identify, analyze and develop programs that support customer adoption of efficient electrification technologies

· Prioritize and implement new product and service opportunities for Ameren Illinois through the development and implementation of effective processes and methodologies.

· Evaluate new business opportunities for top line revenue growth through the creation of business case analysis tools, template and financial models.

· Perform due diligence and benchmarking by engaging external parties (Research Organizations, Utilities, Trade Allies, Distributors, Potential Partners, etc.)

· Evaluate competitive energy alternatives and identify strategic opportunities to integrate additional products and services into customers' operations that improve customer loyalty, increase profitability for both parties and benefit the environment.

· Identify barriers preventing customer adoption of EVs and other efficient electrification measures and proactively seek existing and/or develop innovative ways to eliminate those barriers.

· Proactively provide technical and economic analysis expertise and training to a team of coworkers, customers and program partners collaborating to advance efficient electrification.

· Proactively collaborate with other Ameren Illinois work groups, including Rates & Regulatory, Energy Efficiency, Customer Satisfaction, Economic Development, Communication & Public Relations, Customer Engagement, Operations, Ameren Missouri and Ameren Corporate to develop and implement efficient electrification and product and services programs.

· Stay abreast of the latest efficient electrification applied technology developments and trends and aggressively explore opportunities for deployment.

· Develop presentations and summary reports to inform and engage executive leadership and ultimately sell the team's new business opportunities

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or related technical area from an accredited college or university required. Master’s degree in engineering, business, or related technical area is preferred.

· Five or more years of professional level experience applying technical knowledge or analyzing business cases (financial analyses, market analyses, and industry analyses) for projects required.

· Direct experience with electric utility distribution systems and customers preferred.

· Experience with project management, and familiarity with utility industry is preferred.
