Your Opportunity
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician to join our team.
Your Responsibilities
• Set up and adjust press equipment for efficient and accurate job runs
• Follow detailed job orders and verify materials, colors, and registration before running
• Monitor print quality throughout the run and make precise adjustments as needed
• Detect and correct mechanical or process issues to maintain consistent output
• Perform routine maintenance and keep press in top operating condition
• Meet or exceed goals for productivity, quality, waste, and spoilage control
• Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure smooth shift transitions
• Complete production logs and quality documentation with accuracy
Your Shift: Thursday through Saturday, 5:00am -5:00pm
You Must Have
• Proven mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications, work orders, and production data
• Basic math skills for measuring, calculating dimensions, and optimizing stock usage
• Understanding of press operations, color control, and registration
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Requirements for This Position
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information with others
• Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift
• Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 25+ pounds
• Regular operation of press and related finishing equipment
We Would Also Prefer
• Color vision and ability to distinguish subtle color variations
• Previous experience operating printing or converting equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
Pay and Benefits
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $23-27. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees
