The Role:
The Product Operations Manager will own the operational heartbeat of the Ottimate Product organization. Reporting directly to the Head of Product, this role will streamline how Product works, drive cross-functional execution, and ensure smooth release and launch management.
You’ll partner with Product Managers, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to build repeatable processes, maintain visibility into product performance, and ensure our releases and launches land with impact. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, detail, and orchestration—helping great product ideas turn into successful, customer-ready outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Product Operations
- Standardize and optimize product team processes, tooling, and workflows (roadmapping, backlog management, release planning, KPI tracking).
- Develop and maintain product documentation, dashboards, and internal communications for visibility across Product, Engineering, and GTM teams.
- Drive operational rhythm of Product (quarterly planning, OKR tracking, product reviews).
- Manage product data, metrics, and insights to support decision-making and improve execution velocity.
Release Management
- Own the end-to-end release process for Ottimate’s SaaS products, ensuring smooth and predictable deployments.
- Partner with Engineering to define release criteria, cutoffs, testing, and communication cadence.
- Coordinate release readiness with Support, Services, and Customer Success.
- Track and report on release health, adoption, and quality metrics.
Launch Management
- Lead cross-functional product launch processes from planning through execution.
- Partner with Product Managers and Marketing to define launch requirements, assets, and GTM enablement.
- Ensure Sales, Services, and Support teams are trained and prepared ahead of each launch.
- Manage post-launch reviews to measure adoption, collect feedback, and improve future launches.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product operations, program management, or a related role in a SaaS environment.
- Experience in release management and/or product launch management strongly preferred.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Familiarity with SaaS product development lifecycle, agile frameworks, and tools like Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, and Productboard.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
