As a HR Administrator – Personnel Security Focus you will...
- Assist the FSO/AFSO in the development, management, administration, and audit of the security program in support of our Defense and Intelligence portfolio of programs.
- Support security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
- Assist with compliance regarding government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export-controlled data.
- Maintain and enhance integrity of personnel and procedures required to protect classified and sensitive information and material per the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
- Track and administer personnel security clearances in government systems and work with candidates to obtain and maintain security clearance records.
- Interpret and enforce government and company security policies and provide direction and guidance to program personnel.
- Interface with Program Managers and maintain liaison with US Government Program Security Officers.
- Conduct Security Education and training for all aspects of the security program. Track security training requirements for staff.
- Participate in security self-assessment initiatives.
- HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
- Manage documentation, including employment contracts, benefits enrollment, and performance appraisals ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as a point of contact for questions related to company policies and procedures.
- Support compliance efforts with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist in the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
- Administration of employee bios and certifications.
- Payroll entry and administration.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and changes.
- Data gathering to support analytics and reporting activities.
- Responsible for employee handbook updates and new state regulations.
HR Administrator – Personnel Security Focus Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of HR or personnel security experience
- Clearance: TS clearance preferred and ability to obtain an SCI and polygraph.
- Knowledge of government contracting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating effectively with a diverse team.

Additional Skills We Would like to see...
- Experience with access control/visit control/badge management systems and software (e.g., DISS, NCAISS / NISS, NBIS).
- Experience with security onboarding of new hires and conducting briefings.
- Knowledge of Foreign Travel Requirements.

- Office Schedule: Combination of remote and in-office work in the DC Metro/Virginia area. Some SCIF work required.
