The Experiential Learning Office primarily focuses on empowering students to be professionally successful through access to profitable networks, professional development skills, and meaningful community connections for post-graduation marketability, networking, and employment.

Position Overview

The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the position of Experiential Learning Assistant in the Experiential Learning Office. This position is located at the Dallas main campus. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: creating, maintaining, and revising affiliation agreements, maintaining clear and consistent communication with students via email, participating in outreach activities on campus, overseeing the issuance of cords for graduation, and assisting with record keeping and data collection.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and experience working with either student services, student affairs, experiential learning or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of University policies including FERPA and procedures related to the area of assignment.
• Considerable knowledge (or ability to rapidly assimilate and retain) university operating procedures, organization and management policies.
• Working knowledge of sound business principles, practices, and techniques.
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• High level of competence using email and search engines.
• Skilled in typing at a moderately fast rate with few errors.
