Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pricing/Cost Analyst to develop and manage cost/pricing models for a variety of proposals, bids, and quotes. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our proposals are competitive and compliant with all requirements. This role requires collaboration across multiple departments to gather key inputs and deliver precise cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proposal Development: Manage and maintain proposal responses, including developing pricing models and cost volumes for various products and services.
• Bill of Materials (BOM): Create and update proposal BOMs, coordinating with Purchasing to secure vendor quotes.
• Cost/Price Analysis: Review historical labor and material costs to build accurate pricing models. Gather inputs from functional departments for labor, material, and other direct costs.
• Compliance: Ensure all proposals comply with FAR/DFARS regulations and small business administration requirements.
• Integration: Finalize and integrate all inputs for submission to management for approval.
• Audit Support: Assist in audits by government or customer bodies on proposal responses.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with the Technical Proposal Manager to align proposal deliverables and timelines.
• Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate forecasts and proposal data in D365.
• Communication: Interface effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in pricing, cost estimating, or accounting. Experience in government contracting or manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks independently and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Must meet the eligibility requirements of the Safe Explosives Act of 2003, as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF).
