Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend, cloud and data systems

• Expert in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django

• Proven expertise in designing and maintaining ETL pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Kafka, or Spark

• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture in cloud environments

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including infrastructure design, CI/CD, and monitoring

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Advanced skills in managing relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis)

• Familiarity with data modeling, performance tuning, and data quality management

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems powering EvoChat's AI platform

• Lead the development of robust, cloud-native ETL pipelines to process large-scale, real-time data

• Design cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows ensuring high availability and reliability

• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and cross-functional teams for integrated delivery

• Conduct performance tuning, cost optimization, and observability of cloud and data systems

• Contribute to the design of scalable data models and cloud-native backend architecture

• Lead best practices in backend development, security, and data engineering
