What You'll Bring:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a highly analytical field such as economics, finance, mathematics, operations research or statistics. Requires a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a variety of analytical positions.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in credit, financial services consulting, or financial services industry.
- Direct experience on the client side of business preferred.
- Outstanding analytical and consulting skills.
- At least 3 years’ prior experience managing analytical professionals. Ability to manage a staff consisting of managers and experienced professionals who synthesize and analyze information and determine the appropriate course of business action using varying degrees of analytical, technical and marketing skills.
- Successful demonstration of defining and executing analytic solution strategies and roadmaps, setting budgets and monitoring financial performance. Experience working within a matrixed organization preferred.
- Significant experience delivering analytic services within the CRA/Software/Marketing data industry. Credit risk within financial services and regulated environment experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to present and discuss information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
- Strong presentation skills to audiences of various sizes and seniority, technical and business focused. Ability to communicate and apply a consultative/solution-based approach.
- Able to translate a vision into actionable items and communicate progress against goals.
- Self-starter with the ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision. Ability to think innovatively and drive change throughout the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
- The ability to manage and lead in ambiguous situations.
- High degree of computer literacy and previous programming experience required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience using SAS, R, or Python.
- Experience in both traditional analytics tools such as SAS or SPSS, and newer analytic tools and frameworks such as Hadoop, R, Python, or Spark.
- Some international and domestic travel required.
Impact You'll Make:
- Define and ensure stakeholder agreement with a comprehensive regional three-year analytics strategy and operating plan in collaboration with the Global Data Science & Analytics team.
- Develop and deliver analytic solution roadmaps to exceed revenue growth targets.
- Identify market trends and develop strategies to meet the market trends, resulting in increased market share.
- Leverage, drive adoption, and contribute to global best practices and intellectual property, tailoring to local market needs as appropriate.
- Identify and recommend the exploration of economically attractive and compliant products and/or services. Apply analytical and technical knowledge to design solutions for customers with advice and direction. Independently address complex implementation and technical issues when consulting with customers. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure the analytics strategy is aligned to go-to-market strategies.
- Work with internal and external customers to identify customers’ short- and long-term analytic needs. Construct plans to develop and/or obtain the capabilities to meet these needs.
