Readiness Project Manager, Deployment Readiness (GCC Operations)
About the team
The Deployment Readiness group within Global Customer Care Operations works with Kinaxis and Partner deployment teams to help drive the readiness and success of complex customer deployments. The Readiness Project Manager will work closely with deployment team delivery leads through deployment milestones to review critical deliverables, identify and escalate deployment risk, and analyze incremental readiness for go-live.
What you will do
- Collaborate with Kinaxis and Partner deployment team delivery leads to understand the deployment scope and schedule, and work with them through the deployment lifecycle
- Conduct deployment milestone and other Deployment Readiness reviews with Kinaxis and Partner deployment team delivery leads
- Review deployment deliverables as defined by the Deployment Readiness process to inform deployment readiness
- Identify and escalate risks that arise through deployment reviews, working with internal and external stakeholders alike
- Assess and report on deployment health and readiness for projects in your portfolio
- Support the effective execution of Design & Deployment Assurance-supported projects
- Support the collection, analysis and reporting of Deployment Readiness Key Performance Indicators
- Champion the Deployment Readiness Management process and enablement tools with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide input and support in Deployment Readiness program improvement initiatives
What we are looking for
- 5 years of progressive Project Management experience within a high-tech environment, preferably in the readiness and/or software implementation/SaaS space
- Experience working with implementation Partners
- Experience in project and issue tracking tools, such as but not limited to Jira
- Organized, analytical thinker who pays attention to detail
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to self-direct, prioritize activities and work on multiple project demands in a fast paced global environment
- Ability to work independently, think critically, make sound judgement decisions and recommendations to solve problems
- Experience with the Kinaxis RapidResponse® platform and supply chain management principles considered an asset
Education/Certifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
- PMP certification considered an asset
- ASCM or other supply chain management certification considered an asset
