We are currently in search of a passionate professor for an online graduate level Health Services Administration class for the upcoming Winter quarter, starting January 5th.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum and utilize your professional expertise to provide high-quality instruction.
Enhance the strength and effectiveness of the curriculum through the use of technology and videos.
Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience.
Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to ensure students receive quality feedback in a timely manner to support their academic success.
Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated.
Adhere to University policies and procedures.
Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required.
Job Skills:
Effectively communicate with all levels of the University.
Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology.
Demonstrated knowledge of academic evaluation.
Proficiency in oral presentation skills, planning, and organizing of course objectives.
Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage potentially stressful situations in a professional and ethical manner.
Work Experience:
Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience are strongly preferred.
2 years professional experience in an administrative/leadership/ management role in a healthcare delivery setting (acute care, ambulatory, public/community, or home health) required, 5 years preferred.
Professional experience in Health Policy and/or Law required, i.e. regulatory compliance, risk management, Ethics Board, serving on a local, regional, or state-wide committee or board focused on health policy, or serving in a health policy and/or advocacy role within a healthcare setting or with a professional healthcare organization required.
Education:
Doctorate Degree in Health Services Administration, Health Care Administration, Health Services Management, Health Science, Public Health or a related HSA discipline OR
Doctorate Degree in Business-related discipline w/ Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration or Public Health OR
Doctorate Degree in Business-related discipline w/ ≥18 graduate semester credit hours in HSA
Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
Professional certification in discipline specialty (if applicable).
