FY25 Student Worker Grounds Maintenance (1266)

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Grounds Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep of our campus and rental properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of landscaping tasks to ensure our grounds are well-maintained, visually appealing, and safe for all users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding across campus and on rental properties.
• Collect and dispose of litter and debris to maintain a clean environment.
• Assist in the care and maintenance of grounds equipment, including cleaning, fueling, and minor repairs.
• Support landscaping efforts by mulching, trimming, and planting in flower beds and landscaped areas.
• Assist with seasonal planting and maintenance activities as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at Friends University.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping practices and equipment operation (mowers, trimmers, edgers, etc.) preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
