Safety - Senior Power Inverter System Engineer (m/f/d)

 

  

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Definition of system concepts and system requirements for power electronics, considering safety standards (ISO6469, ISO26262, etc.)
• Participation in the system architecture development, together with other system experts
• Development of technical safety concepts in relation to the safety functions of an inverter
• Incorporation and discussion of new solutions and strategies together with software and hardware experts
• Definition of test cases for integration and functional system tests and their execution on different test systems (HiL, PHiL, Testbed)
• Support with technical knowledge in the execution of safety analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA, DFA)
• Support with own technical expertise in the development of new technologies in the field of e-mobility and e-drive
• Support in project planning, budget tracking and timeline definition in R&D and customer projects
• Conducting technical discussions with customers

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of e-mobility and e-drive development
• Very good e-drive and power electronics system knowledge
• Experience in functional safety is an advantage
• Experience with the following tools:
  • UML based architecture tool e.g. Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, SysML, etc.
  • Lifecycle management tool e.g. Windchill, DOORS, Codebeamer, etc.
• Very good knowledge of hardware and software systems 
• High level of communication and teamwork skills 
• High analytical and conceptual skills 
• Very good knowledge of English, good knowledge of German is an advantage 
• Personality is more than anything else!
