We are seeking an Intern to join our Global Management Services team. In this role you will support planning, automation and delivery of technical, operative and administrative services. Β In Addition, you will collaboratively work on problems where evaluation of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

Duration

25 hours/wk for Spring 2025, with preference for continuation into Summer 2025 at 40 hours/wk. Internship to begin April 2025.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Apply standard programming procedures and knowledge of pertinent functional areas

  • Evaluate needs, design, develop, test, and train new processes and applications

  • Work according to approved requirements and detailed specifications

  • Develop, modify, and maintain assigned projects

  • Respond to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding

  • Carry out fact finding and project analysis of problems; apply established procedures to bring resolution

  • Provide technical advice and support to users; this includes creating ad-hoc reports, data analysis and correction, training and problem solving

  • End-to-end support of performance within Service Level Agreements and KPIs

  • May lead and/or coordinate some team efforts; build productive internal/external working relationships

  • Accomplish operational and/or functional automation, reporting, and data objectives that enable successful execution of department goals

  • Provide direction to team members on Project Management standard procedures and requirements to ensure projects commit successfully

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: enrolled in an accredited and related degree program with completion of at least two years of college-level coursework (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related).

  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL

  • Experience using Python, R, or other related languages

  • Experience using Power BI

  • Experience using Power Automate or similar automation tools

  • Experience with application design, technical and AI projects

  • Ability to work with large data sets, and consolidate multiple data sources

  • Professional workplace communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to solve problems and drive programs forward

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Enrolled in a graduate level Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related degree program

  • Experience using Jira, Azure Devops or similar project management tools

  • Intermediate experience with Oracle, MSSQL DB or similar database management systems

Physical Demands

This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.

This position will be tied to our San Jose, CA or Liberty Lake, WA location, with hybrid work flexibility of 2-3 days on-site per week.

San Jose, CA: $25.00 - $57.69 per hour

Liberty Lake, WA: $15.87 - $44.23 per hour
