Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant/Tax Preparer to join our fast-paced, growing team. In this role, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to manage financial records, prepare tax returns, and assist with audit processes for our high-profile clientele. You’ll work with state-of-the-art accounting software such as NetSuite and QuickBooks Online, as well as specialized tax preparation tools like CCH Access. Responsibilities
- Expertly manage financial records and perform comprehensive bookkeeping tasks using NetSuite and QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and file accurate U.S. tax returns for diverse clients using CCH Access
- Collaborate with senior team members on audit preparations and processes
- Handle sensitive accounting tasks for high-profile clients, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
- Work seamlessly with our U.S.-based team during business hours, ensuring smooth communication and workflow
- Stay current with U.S. accounting principles and tax laws to provide top-notch service to our clients
Requirements
- Proven proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks Online, with the ability to navigate complex financial systems
- Substantial experience in U.S. tax preparation and familiarity with CCH Access
- Strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles and current tax laws
- Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of maintaining high accuracy in financial work
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with high-profile clients
- Willingness to work remotely and align with Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and data security
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, EA) are a plus but not required
