About the Role
We are seeking a Social Media & Community Engagement Specialist with a strong foundation in cybersecurity awareness to manage and grow our online communities across multiple platforms. This role bridges digital engagement and online safety, ensuring our brand voice remains active, authentic, and secure. The ideal candidate is social by nature, skilled in fostering meaningful conversations, and confident in integrating cybersecurity principles into everyday community interactions and content strategies.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the company’s social media communities across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries while maintaining the brand’s tone and values.
- Monitor online discussions to identify and flag potential cybersecurity risks such as phishing, impersonation, or suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with marketing and cybersecurity teams to create content and campaigns promoting online safety and digital best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and community members to strengthen brand credibility and trust.
- Track engagement metrics, analyze audience sentiment, and provide actionable insights for optimization.
- Stay informed of emerging social media trends and cybersecurity developments to ensure a relevant, secure online presence.
- Support the execution of community-driven initiatives, webinars, and awareness campaigns focused on cybersecurity and digital trust.
- Apply knowledge of SEO, analytics, and digital performance metrics to enhance engagement strategies.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, demonstrating strong organization and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media community management, digital engagement, or online moderation.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including data privacy, online threats, and safe social media practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, professional tone.
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of brand storytelling and meaningful engagement.
- Proficiency with social media and community management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
- Analytical approach with the ability to interpret engagement data and audience insights.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
