Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, establishing personalized treatment plans based on individual needs. Administer hands-on therapeutic treatments, utilizing manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to support patients’ rehabilitation goals. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to enhance recovery outcomes. Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term health. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to create integrated care plans that support holistic patient recovery. Patient Population / Client Focus This role specifically focuses on treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will encounter a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes striving to return to peak performance to older adults working to regain mobility and independence. Understanding the specific needs of each patient and providing tailored rehabilitation services are key to your success in this role. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current Physical Therapist license recognized in New Jersey. A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in physical therapy, emphasizing orthopedic rehabilitation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members. Preferred Experience Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols to optimize patient rehabilitation.
