Job Description
This position offers a work-from-home schedule after an in-person onboarding, with periodic on-site team meetings and all-staff events. Candidate must reside in the state of Indiana or be willing to relocate by first day of employment.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000.
The IU Foundation is seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Stack Engineer to join their team! As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will work on the development and maintenance of our critical systems. Your strong background in object-oriented and database programming will be essential as you create scalable and efficient solutions that meet our business needs.
You'll be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment. In this role, you'll also need to be comfortable moving and querying data, both programmatically and through traditional query languages. Apply Today!
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Experience with object-oriented programming (C# or equivalent language)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with MVC architecture
- Exposure to database design and SQL principles
- Understanding of server, network, and hosting environments
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Foundation's systems
- Ability to participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development
- Secure programming knowledge
- Ability to learn and extend vended software systems
- Agile Development Practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, software engineering, informatics or other related fields is strongly preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a software development-related field is required.
- Combinations of education and experience may be considered.
