Senior Workers' Compensation Attorney (Remote)

Description

Abramson Labor Group is seeking a highly motivated, well-qualified Senior Attorney to join our Workers’ Compensation team.  This position is remote but the candidate MUST reside and be licensed in the state of California.  

Senior Attorneys will report directly to a Managing Partner and are supported substantively and administratively by a large team of paralegals and support staff.

Key Responsibilities

Essential functions of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Managing a docket of Workers' Compensation cases to resolution
• Conducting depositions
• Negotiating settlements and moving matters towards resolution
• Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
• Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
• 5+ years of Workers' Compensation experience required
• Doctors' deposition experience (preferred)
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar

Final offered salary is commensurate with experience as a Workers' Compensation Attorney.
