Job Location: Extensive travel, 80% or more.
Job Summary:The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of products through inspections and evaluations. This role involves working closely with the Quality team to monitor and improve the product quality, troubleshoot issues, and maintain adherence to industry standards and regulations.
As a Quality Technician II at Fluence, you will:•Conduct inspections and testing on incoming equipment and materials, to ensure compliance with quality standards.•Identify non-conforming products, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.•Work closely with the quality control team and production teams to identify areas for improvement.•Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.•Prepare detailed reports on quality findings and risks. •Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, or other regulatory requirements.•Ensure proper calibration of testing and measuring equipment.•Perform root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.•Maintain proper documentation and records of quality tests and inspections.•Collaborate with engineers and managers to resolve quality-related issues.•Continue training on LMS (learning management system) and on-the-job training. 
The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications:•Associate’s degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance) preferred, or equivalent work experience.• Experience in a quality assurance or quality control role (specific to your industry).•Strong understanding of quality control principles, practices, and testing methodologies.•Experience with measurement and inspection tools.•Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, etc.) and regulatory requirements.•Familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.•Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software (SAP, Procore). •Ability to work independently and in a team environment.•Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring high product quality.Preferred Skills:•Certification in quality control or assurance.•Experience with statistical analysis tools.
