National Grid is hiring a Senior Change Management Specialist, for our US Business in Massachusetts. This position is hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in the office with the ability to work from home 2-3 days.  Up to 25% percent travel for position.

Job Purpose

 

 

 

The Senior Change Management Specialist will be part of National Grid’s transformative Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) Program. You will help deliver a cohesive change management program for the approximate ~75% of NG’s workforce who will be engaged and impacted by the AMI Program. This includes stakeholder engagement, organizing logistics, crafting communications content, and supporting the wider change team with project management.

 

 

Key Accountabilities

 

The Senior Change Management Specialist will be responsible for the following activities:

 

  • Create and maintain support sites (SharePoint), tools, and other user enablement materials (training, SOPs, etc.)
  • Craft communications and content to support engagement and awareness across the program, assisting with the production of a monthly newsletter and contributing to road shows and virtual meetings. Experience creating engaging PowerPoint presentations a plus.
  • Respond to stakeholders’ questions (i.e., shared mailbox, MS Teams, SharePoint) and document feedback
  • Attend program meetings to capture updates across business organizations and present key Change Management findings
  • Capture and track risks raised by the Change Management team in a risk log and ensure that action items are completed in a timely manner

  • Manage the Change Management JIRA Align board by ensuring features and stories are accurately represented and updated for transparency across the program team 
  • Support impacted business areas to help them with increased sustainment of the AMI program
  • Partner with the change team to facilitate ongoing conversations with impacted business stakeholder to ensure their organizations are meeting the pre-defined criteria in the business readiness assessment post go-live

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Degree in Marketing, Project Management, Change Management, Education, Business, Communications or related field required. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in change management, including business coaching and supporting large scale transformation programs preferred.
  • Robust problem solver, able to assess root cause and partner with stakeholders to determine practical solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts under tight deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with strong presentation skills.
  • Experience creating communications and excellent writing skills required. A writing sample may be requested.
  • Valid driver’s license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid’s Safe Driver policy.”

Salary commensurate with experience and location
