Business Analyst

 

Responsibilities: Enable high quality business solutions that deliver value-based business outcomes focused on advanced analytics and AI/ML technology to help utility clients realize the potential of big data and artificial intelligence. Work as part of the development/delivery team to facilitate clear and open communication between business stakeholders, developers, and the product owner. Engage with subject matter experts to identify and develop user stories with business-driven acceptance criteria and test cases. Support the uplift of Agile practices and support team members with their understanding of user stories and Agile methodologies. Participate in and help facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals. Utilize Agile methodologies for analysis and testing. Groom product backlog by considering purpose, organizing and prioritizing user stories, and splitting epics into user stories. Facilitate meetings with relevant stakeholders to decide which business workflows should be created, eliminated, or revised at the product level.

 

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000/year

 

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or two years business analysis. Experience must include two years each of the following: creating user stories; working with software developers to create technical specifications; working with agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as SAFe to deliver business solutions; and creating wire frame designs for UI developers. Experience may be gained concurrently.
