<p><strong>Deadline Date: </strong>Wednesday 11 June 2025</p><p><strong>Requirement:</strong> Senior Project Manager</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Braine-l'Alleud, BE</p><p><strong>Full Time On-Site:</strong> Yes</p><p><strong>Time On-Site:</strong> 100%</p><p><strong>Total Scope of the request (hours):</strong> 418</p><p><strong>Required Start Date:</strong> 21 July 2025</p><p><strong>End Contract Date: </strong>31 December 2025 </p><p><strong>Required Security Clearance:</strong> NATO SECRET</p><p> </p><p><strong>Duties and Role: </strong></p><ul> <li>Manage assigned CIS projects and/or individual work packages (in the context of Service Design and Service Transition activities) in close cooperation with the relevant service/business areas in the Agency and other non-Agency stakeholders in the Alliance, in accordance with approved project requirements, constraints and baselines, from start-up to closure,</li> <li>Produce high-quality project deliverables, including Price Proposals and Statements of Work, based on concrete, unambiguous and measurable requirements,</li> <li>Lead and coordinate the identification, development, analysis and consolidation of user and project requirements,</li> <li>Develop solicitation documentation (RFQ, IFB) and plan and execute the solicitation/competition activities in coordination with relevant Agency stakeholders,</li> <li>Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including Contractors and NATO organizations,</li> <li>Monitor and control project execution with documentation review, testing, delivery etc.</li> <li>Act as a team member for large projects, in particular to support the project manager and other project team members for any relevant duties,</li> <li>Be ready to act independently as Test, Migration, Requirements, or Implementation Manager,</li> <li>Travel to other NATO locations, including operational theatre as required,</li> <li>Adhere to NCI Agency guidance and directives as well as NATO standards,</li> <li>Perform any other duties as mandated by line manager.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Skill, Knowledge & Experience:</strong></p><ul> <li>The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance valid through the contract period</li> <li>A Master of Science (M.S) degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience to a Master's degree,</li> <li>Former experience in or with NCIA, thorough knowledge of NCIA project management processes, and conversant with NATO policy and procurement procedures (asset),</li> <li>Experience as a project manager in Communications and Information System (CIS) projects (at least 3 years) or experience as a project team leader (at least 3 years),</li> <li>Deployable to operational theatres on short notice, for a limited period of time (Note: NCIA will take care of pre-deployment trainings if needed),</li> <li>Experience in applying multi-discipline engineering and management techniques in the acquisition of complex CIS,</li> <li>Experience in managing, planning, design, system engineering and implementation of military or similar CIS,</li> <li>Knowledge in and experience with current technologies relevant to the work,</li> <li>Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing, with good briefing skills,</li> <li>A formal qualification in project management (PRINCE2 and/or PMP),</li> <li>English 4343 (see STANAG 6001),</li> <li>Able to operate autonomously under time pressure, and able to multitask continuously,</li> <li>Ability to independently produce project documentation in English, including comprehensive Price Proposals and Statements of Work,</li> <li>Ability to interact and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (including customers) as per the principles and best practices for stakeholder management,</li> <li>Experience of working in an international environment, preferably comprising both military and civilian staff,</li> <li>Thorough knowledge in and experience with the use of Microsoft Project or Service Now,</li> <li>Able to learn new procedures and terminology quickly and enthusiastically.</li> </ul>
