Job Description

At Atlas, we're providing services that enable communities to flourish and thrive, and if you’re a Senior CMT Field Technician ready to perform quality assurance testing on the new I-69 bridge linking Indiana and Kentucky and committed to doing meaningful work, then this is your moment. You’ll manage staff to perform INDOT testing, coordinate daily with management, and documente results. This is a full-time temporary seasonal position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Managing a staff to ensure INDOT specified testing is occurring.

  • Perform Dynamic Cone Penetrometer, One-Point Proctor and Moisture Content Testing.

  • Communicating with project and Atlas management staff on a daily basis.

  • Documenting results with photographs on a daily basis.

You’ll thrive here if you have

  • INDOT Soil Testing Certification

  • 10-years materials testing experience.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • A valid driver’s license.

  • Physical strength, stamina and dexterity to lift and move 70 lbs, stoop, bend, and stand throughout the course of up to a 12-hour workday in varying weather conditions in varying terrain.

  • Experience with soils testing including one-point Proctors and Dynamic Cone testing.

  • Motivated, career-oriented individual striving to learn and achieve within the construction industry.

  • Must be willing to travel within Kentucky and Indiana as required by assignments
