Senior Associate, UX Content Strategist, AI & Consumer Experiences
New York Life is evolving its consumer digital ecosystem to better serve prospects and clients across awareness, education, and decision-making journeys. NYL.com serves as a primary entry point, but consumer engagement increasingly spans multiple digital touchpoints and is shaped by AI-driven search and discovery behaviors.
We’re seeking a Content Strategist, AI & Consumer Experiences to drive content strategy across NYL.com and broader consumer digital journeys. This is a strategic role focused on building structured, scalable content that reinforces trust & expertise, and supports discoverability and cohesive consumer experiences in a changing AI landscape.
You’ll partner closely with Content Strategy Lead, Design, Marketing, Product, Research, Analytics, SEO, and Compliance to ensure consumer content is aligned, performance-driven, and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
Consumer Experience Content Strategy
- Define and evolve content strategy across NYL.com and other consumer and client-facing digital journeys and ensure cohesion across experiences.
- Map and structure content across awareness, consideration, and conversion stages to reduce friction and improve clarity.
- Establish strategic frameworks for core product/solution pages, FAQ libraries, and campaign landing experiences.
- Establish content patterns and page-level frameworks that support intuitive navigation and decision-making.
- Ensure messaging and interaction logic remain consistent across consumer digital touchpoints.
AI & Search-Driven Discoverability
- Execute AI-driven discoverability strategy and translate it across NYL.com & consumer experiences, including adapting to generative search and AI Overviews.
- Shape structured content and schema approaches that improve how consumer content is organized, surfaced, and interpreted in search and AI-driven environments.
- Partner with Analytics to evolve performance models beyond traditional keyword metrics.
- Future-proof consumer content for emerging search behaviors and AI-mediated discovery.
Structured Content & Governance
- Develop scalable content models that support reuse, modularity, and clarity across digital consumer experiences.
- Align consumer content structures with enterprise taxonomy and structured content standards.
- Identify and reduce duplication or fragmentation across pages and journeys.
- Lead content modernization efforts to improve clarity, consistency, and performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Content and Design colleagues to ensure content supports intuitive page layouts and interaction flows.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Marketing to align brand and experience-level messaging and priorities
- Work with Authoring & Enablement to implement structured and reusable content systems and publishing workflows
- Participate in Compliance and Legal reviews to ensure consumer-facing content meets regulatory standards.

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in content strategy, digital product content, UX writing, or structured content architecture.
