<p></p><p><strong>About the job</strong></p><p>We are recruiting for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join Alpheya.</p><p>This will be a 12 month contract with possibility of converting to full time and / or relocate to Abu Dhabi in the future. </p><p>This will be a hybrid remote role, with few days per week in a coworking space in Warsaw to meet with the squad, and potential travel to Abu Dhabi as needed for important collaboration touchpoints with wider team (e.g., PI Planning).</p><p>We are looking for candidates based in Poland, candidates must have the right to work in this country.</p><p></p><p><a rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener"><strong>About Alpheya</strong></a></p><p>We are a B2B WealthTech startup based in Abu Dhabi and backed by BNY Mellon and Lunate.</p><p>Our mission is to power and grow our clients’ Wealth franchises through differentiated experiences, financial solutions, and insights. We are doing this through a state-of-the-art digital wealth management platform, that will enable banks and other financial institutions in the GCC to grow and further penetrate affluent, HNW and UHNW investor segments. </p><p>While still leveraging the capabilities and knowledge of large organizations, our fintech is a startup with truly cross-functional and agile teams.</p><p>This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting opportunity right from its inception, as we look to build our organization, design, and build the product and go-live with the first client in the next 12 months. </p><p> For more information, please visit <a href="http://www.alpheya.com" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener">www.alpheya.com</a></p><p></p><p><strong>Main responsibilities </strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints</li> <li>Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions</li> <li>Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas</li> <li>Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and stakeholder input</li> <li>Develop and maintain an intuitive and cohesive information architecture for the WealthTech platform</li> <li>Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure seamless integration of design into the development process</li> <li>Design visually appealing interfaces that align with our brand identity and enhance the overall user experience</li> <li>Create designs that are responsive and optimized for various devices, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience across platforms</li> <li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive design system to streamline the design process and maintain consistency</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life</li> <li>Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale to the team and stakeholders</li> <li>Ensures development of compelling visual designs that align with brand standards</li> <li>Tracks user experience metrics and reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent</li> <li>5+ years of experience in designing user interface, conducting user research, developing information architecture, and designing software proficiency</li> <li>Experience in financial services, fintech, ideally in B2B context</li> <li>Understand the interdependence between customer needs, business expectations, and technical requirements and ability to drive a reasoned discussion on this subject and articulate the value of a design choice</li> <li>Ability to manage complex problems and able to deliver elegant, intuitive customer experiences</li> <li>Combined skills in User Research, Interaction Design, Visual Design</li> <li>Ability to plan, conduct, and synthesize user research and usability testing at various stages of the design process</li> <li>Skilled at creating interaction design solutions for desktop, web, and mobile applications</li> <li>Strong visual design skills, able to create compelling, branded, high-fidelity product screens</li> <li>Familiar working with design systems that consistently scale across platforms</li> <li>Strong communication skills with ability to articulate the value of a design choice to users and non-designer stakeholders</li> </ul>
