Job Description:

At LG NOVA, you'll be part of a big group of makers, breakers, doers, and disruptors who love to solve real problems and meet real customer needs.

As a contract Sr. Product Manager at LG NOVA, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities relating to finding market opportunities and developing product concepts and business cases in the Cleantech and Energy markets.  These will include comprehensive market research into customer needs and the competitive landscape, developing product feature sets, product business plans and go to market strategies, budgets, working with the engineering team during development and related activities. 

 What You’ll Do:

  • Extensive market research to determine market need, customer need, product and market opportunities, understand the competitive landscape Develop product concepts and features
  • Develop the business plan including business and pricing models, pro forma, etc.
  • Design and plan the go to market strategy
  • Conduct competitive product analysis Providing management with analyses and reports as needed
  • Develop product and project presentations as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other Cleantech members and Engineering teams
  • Be familiar with the agile development process
  • Take the product and go-to-market development process through the full lifecycle flow from concept to first product, through multiple iterations based on market feedback and product testing

 

Desired Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • Cleantech and/or energy market knowledge a requirement.
  • Experience working at a startup is a plus.
  • Experience developing SaaS or PaaS products is desirable.
  • Enterprise software systems knowledge a plus.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field is required

Please Note: this is a short-term contract position, not a direct employment position with LG. We expect the contract to last around 2 months, depending on business needs.

Compensation: the hourly rate for this contract will depend on the location and experience of the candidate hired.
