Job Description:

At Regions, the Corporate Banking Communications and Training Coordinator works with the Corporate Banking group by creating and executing various communications and marketing strategies, ensuring exceptional and sustainable performance. This position will also perform various administrative duties such as updating internal deliverables relating to areas like portals, websites, or pitch books; on occasion will delegate to junior coordinators. This position may also serve as a coach and mentor to junior coordinators to ensure consistent performance across the board.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partners with the Corporate Banking Communications and Training Team Manager to create and execute Corporate Banking communications and marketing strategies

  • Supports Corporate Banking leadership and training events

  • Provides support, guidance, and expertise on best communications practices

  • Takes lead in working with Regions Client Advisor Program for Corporate Banking, in conjunction with internal business leaders and the Vanderbilt Executive Development Institute

  • Serves as a key contributor to the Pulse newsletter, handling the gathering of content, copywriting, design, and distribution

  • Updates internal Corporate Banking portals, websites, and pitch books as needed

  • Monitors the Corporate Banking suggestion portal and builds proposals to present potential changes to management

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

  • Three (3) years of related experience in communications or marketing

Preferences

  • Proven ability to deliver communication and training with satisfactory results

  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing strategies

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to learn additional systems as needed

  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts

  • Ability to work in a team environment when applicable

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work under supervision

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

  • Experience in documenting business and/or system procedures
  • Experience with video and training material production, including video creation and editing software and strength in developing compelling and creative Change Management assets

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
