Cohesity is looking for a Senior Revenue Operations & Strategy Analyst to join our high-impact Revenue Operations Team that drives sales strategy and planning, delivers strategic analyses, evolves our Go-To-Market (GTM) model, instills operational rigor, and supports the growth and scale of our high-performing sales organization. The ideal candidate has a passion for driving key objectives for the business and turning data-driven insights into actions. This person has a strong business acumen, excels at balancing strategic planning with execution and is very comfortable taking initiative. 

As an analytical problem solver, you will use data and qualitative information to help sales leadership track and improve the business. You will support key aspects of our GTM design, sales readiness, and the annual sales planning process. This includes helping to build executive reporting, health of business reviews, dashboards, and sales/marketing key performance KPIs. You will have experience in building operational and financial models, analyzing large and sophisticated data sets, and improving our processes and tools. You will support the sales pipeline, productivity, and performance cadence with sales leadership to identify trends and formulate corrective actions. You will be working highly cross-functionally with our Sales, Finance, Marketing, Enablement, HR, Deal Management, and other teams. 

As a key member of the Revenue Operations team, this person will help shape and drive new business initiatives and make a large impact on our growing global business. You will help define our GTM strategy, segmentation, and sales coverage model and build GTM implementation plans. 

Responsibilities 

  • Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations leadership to evolve our GTM strategy, sales tactics, organizational design, coverage design and customer segmentation model; conduct analyses to inform short and long-term strategy         
  • Drive the annual GTM planning process including sales, tools and systems readiness (FY and long-range modeling, investment ROI analysis, HC planning, quota and capacity setting, territory planning and carve) 
  • Manage the design the execution of our GTM plan end-to-end with stakeholders
  • Lead executive analyses, strategies, deliverables and create executive-level presentation material for leadership reviews (e.g., board materials, QBR) 
  • Define and standardize KPIs as the singular source of truth; derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness, trends and present recommended improvements to sales leadership 
  • Provide visibility and performance tracking to the business (health of business reviews, sales efficiency, productivity, sales performance metrics sales coverage KPIs, dashboards, propensity to buy, GTM and customer analytics)
  • Shape, standardize, and improve our sales and field management process; operationalize and drive adoption of our sales process framework to sales management 
  • Drive the business cadence of pipeline, opportunity, productivity, and performance management and establish a culture of field operational excellence   
  • Drive operational efficiencies by automating and improving processes, tools, systems, and dashboards that scale 
  • Define, track, implement and support special projects, initiatives, business priorities, and large-scale sales programs that accelerate bookings and optimize sales efficiency. Structure business problems, evaluate options, implement meaningful recommendations, and track success 

Requirements 

  • 6+ years of Revenue or Sales Strategy, Planning and Operations experience (MBA, strategy consulting, FP&A, business operations, Enterprise software experience a plus) 
  • Solid business acumen and strategic mindset with a bias towards operational execution
