Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional OR Habilitation Services Provider

Warren, Washington and Albany ARC located in Queensbury, NY has a Full Time 40- hours Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional or Habilitation Services Provider (QDIP/HSP) position available. The schedule for this position is Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The rate of pay is from $18.00-$19.00 per hour, based on qualifications for this position.  The QDIP/HSP is responsible for developing and overseeing habilitation plans and safeguards/IPOP’s. This position requires the application of professional skills in clinical areas.

Requirements

QIDP QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field including, but not limited to Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Psychology. One to two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental      disabilities.
• A valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability standards.
• To secure and maintain all certifications and training required by WWAARC. 

HABILITATION SERVICES PROVIDER Qualifications:

• 18 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. College transcripts may be used in lieu of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• To secure and maintain all certifications and training required by WWAARC. This includes but is not limited to, Medication Administration, 1st Aid & CPR, Decision Driving, and SCIP-R.
• One to two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. 
• Some education preferred.
