The Regional Marketing Automation Lead for the Americas is a key member of the AMS Regional Marketing team. The role works closely with the regional marketing team and global counterparts to deliver email automation, lead nurturing, and demand generation across the region, optimizing our efforts across various marketing tactics to drive measurable pipeline performance. The role involves working with a broad range of stakeholders in the organization and requires a structured, curious, and proactive team member.
This role offers location flexibility; candidates may work remotely from the East Coast or from our Lake Oswego, OR office. East Coast hours are preferred given regular collaboration with European colleagues. The position will report to our Head of Regional Marketing, Americas.
The Team
The Americas Regional Marketing team consists of highly passionate and experienced Regional Marketing Managers and Specialists based across the Americas region, which covers the US, Canada, and LATAM. While everyone is accountable for their areas, we collaborate extensively and enjoy sharing and helping each other succeed.
Key roles & responsibilities
Planning, execution, tracking, and optimization
- Understands the overall global approach to automation and digital marketing, execution, and tracking, and is responsible for execution within the Americas region.
- Owns and maintains the regional KPI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, timely reporting, and trend analysis to continuously optimize marketing-attributed performance.
- Manages a broad stakeholder landscape, collaborating closely with Lead Qualification, Sales, and Marketing team members across regional and global functions.
- Ensures all marketing campaigns comply with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA).
Marketing Automation, Demand Generation, and Campaign Management:
- Executes marketing automation campaigns across the region, including events, webinars, and promotional activations.
- Develops and implements e-mail flows, landing pages, and forms using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio).
- Ensures accurate data collection and integration across marketing automation, event platforms, and CRM.
- Builds targeted audience segments using data extensions and automation workflows.
- Coordinates regional paid media efforts with a focus on lead generation that could include content syndication, display advertising, paid webinars, and more.
- Supports light content development needs for demand generation and nurture campaigns, ensuring messaging aligns with global messages and regional market preferences.
- Owns regional social media marketing amplification strategy to drive broader campaign reach thorugh employee advocacy programs.
- Tracks and analyzes campaign effectiveness across all channels, providing detail performance reporting and recommendations.
Experience & attributes
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing automation, demand generation, or digital marketing within a B2B environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field of study
- A team player with an intrinsic motive to help colleagues and go the extra mile to deliver on commitments
- Experience with planning, execution, evaluation, and optimization of events – digitally and physically.
- Data and digital mindset and interest
- Understanding of the sales organization’s needs
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement
- Hands on experience with marketing automation platforms: proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (or comparable enterprise platform such as Marketo or Eloqua) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with data extensions, segmentation logic, and automation workflows
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, build performance dashboards, and implement A/B testing strategies to continuously optimize marketing performance
- Experienced in managing multiple projects and priorities in parallel, works efficiently to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets and resources effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.
- Experience in IT/ Software and a partner business model preferred
