The Service Contract Administrator (SCA) is a crucial member of the North American Service department, providing administrative support to the Service Sales and Customer Service teams with a focus on inter-departmental flow of customer creation, data accuracy and contract management. In this capacity, the SCA performs a variety of assignments including basic and complex administrative duties, overseeing the proper flow of service orders, and assuring accuracy of data for billing. The successful candidate will be highly responsive to internal customers and ensure customer satisfaction consistent with ITW’s values.

Job Description

What You Will Do

• Review service contracts, purchase orders and resolved service calls, ensuring contract compliance and order accuracy to comply with standard operating procedures.  
• Populate and maintain information in our databases within the highest standards of data integrity.
• Correct discrepancies to ensure that our databases are in synch with one another.
• Engage in department-wide projects with a focus on improved efficiency of processes. 
• Work with individuals from several departments while showing independence in balancing and prioritizing their requests.
• Handle multiple work assignments concurrently, delivering high quality work.
• Act as a liaison for interdepartmental activities and communications.
• Maintain composure through possessing the aptitude to work quickly and accurately to process large volumes of work.
• Ability to read, interpret and process all necessary documentation pertaining to customer purchase orders, assuring accuracy and synchronicity of customer profiles in our databases.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

• 2-4 years of technical customer service or sales support experience.
• Associate degree in a business or accounting discipline required.
• Solid computer skills and full command of all MS Office products.
• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must present a professional and energetic presence coupled with strong interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
• Must have strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and be able to provide support in a team environment.
• Must be an extremely responsive person with a positive, “can-do” attitude, either offering alternatives for achieving objectives or enthusiastically embracing the ideas of others.
• Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
