Job Description

What’s the opportunity ?

As the NA Marketing Director you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy to achieve business goals. You will manage a team of marketing professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth and enhance our brand.

Here’s how you’ll do it:

The Marketing Director is critical to helping us reach our North America growth targets. Reporting to the EVP Global Marketing (UK based), and collaborating with the EVP North America and customer facing leaders across the business you will:

  • Agree Marketing ARR attribution in line with overall revenue growth targets.
  • Plan, implement and manage desire and demand generation strategies and campaigns to ensure both lead and pipeline ARR targets are met from both existing and new customers.
  • Review, analyse and report on marketing performance against targets at leadership meetings.
  • Maintain key pipeline metrics including ARR closed won, ARR to pipe, opportunities created, SQL, MQL. as well as key comms metrics, including CPL, CRO and others.
  • Plan, implement and manage a robust content strategy to win the hearts and minds of school audiences and address key customer pains, problems and challenges as they relate to each stage of the buying cycle.
  • Oversee an effective PESO media mix including persona driven messaging, content type, and compelling creative execution.
  • Manage SEO ensuring we maintain a dominant share of space on Google SERPS.
  • Oversee a profitable North American sales/trade show event programme, maximizing lead generation and ROI.
  • Ensuring our brand is represented in a high quality and compelling way.
  • Position the Linewize brand as an innovative thought leader with clear and compelling differentiation from competitors.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with sales and customer success to ensure their face to face enablement needs are met. Also to ensure feedback from customers is heard and fed back into marketing decision making and case study opportunities are maximized.
  • Maintain close working relationships with Product marketing to ensure new and updated product features are communicated to new and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of the student digital safety market including competitors and statutory guidance to schools.
  • Direct and mentor a team of 4 marketers to ensure tasks are completed on time and to standard.
  • Manage, own and adhere to the NA marketing budget.
  • On an ongoing basis evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing programmes and campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to improve ROI.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation and creativity in marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

What will you bring:

  • A degree in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years proven success in a marketing demand generation function within a technology environment preferably edtech.
  • Deep B2B marketing knowledge and a good understanding of B2C.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast, competitive environment with changing priorities and requirements.
  • Analytic and reporting ability.
  • Data driven
  • Strong creative thinker, able to generate ideas and persuasive execution.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Focus and determination
  • Experience in the K-12 market (ideally)
  • Fluency in Hubspot for Marketing and Sales (pipe management)
  • A positive, can do attitude able to embody our values of care always, win together and learn, solve repeat.
