Sr. Inventory Planner (Aged Billing Resolution Analyst)


Locations: Arden Hills, MN, Quincy, MA, Valencia, CA
 

About The Role:
 

The Sr. Inventory Planner (Aged Billing Resolution Analyst) is responsible for researching, resolving, reporting and preventative planning of all opportunities related to outstanding or aging billings and invoices. Develop and monitor a strong Pending PO control policy and ensure that all related activities are key drivers of quality, cost efficiency, and current best practices within the organization/industry.

 

Your Responsibilities Include:
 

  • Continue to improve Pending PO inventory flow processes to ensure that all customer (internal & external) metrics are serviced in line with expectations.
  • Ensure billing and invoice transactional systems are fully capable of meeting ongoing business needs.
  • Enforce the Inventory Policy with regards to Aged Pendings.
  • Perform as a leading team member and subject matter expert, fully motivated to achieve & demonstrate best practices in line with the department's objectives.
  • Develop effective Pending PO processes & controls to meet business goals. (i.e., accuracy, service, sales).
  • Deliver general Pending PO metrics and reporting, i.e., volumes, savings, focus areas.
  • Support tasks involved in the Indigent Donation process in partnership with the Grants Committee
  • Proactively implement improvement opportunities.
  • Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
  • Establish best practices and Customer Improvement Actions (CIAs) with customers.
  • Communicate billing and invoice specifications to customers and sales personnel.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with strategic customer contacts, sales, and internal business partners. Foster positive and supportive relationships with all.
  • Create and lead presentations of analytics to management, business partners, and customers.

 

What We’re Looking For:

     

Required Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
  • Experience in developing and implementing control processes and projections in a high-dollar volume environment.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience maintaining metrics for ongoing operations.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Expertise in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and strong analytical skills.
     

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Field Inventory Management/Sales Support experience encouraged.
  • Proficient in SAP and related database management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to build lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of BCS Sales, Operations, and customers. 
  • Detail, results, and goal - oriented team player.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Balance short-term, urgent needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and determined.
  • Excellent leadership attributes, written/verbal communications, and facilitator/customer service skills.
