About the Role

Your Mission

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at numa, you own the full recruitment cycle for your open positions. Your mission is to attract, evaluate and hire top talent for our rapidly scaling company. You partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor and expert in your field.

Our TA team is early in their journey, so there’s lots of room for you to contribute to process improvement and interesting projects like employer branding, university recruiting, etc. This role is part of a dynamic, international TA team working hybrid* from Berlin, and reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the end to end recruitment process for your roles. Attract, evaluate and hire top quality talent as quickly as possible, using our existing tools and processes but also suggesting your own strategies and improvements
• Build and nurture super strong relationships with hiring managers. You are partners on a joint mission!
• Manage our tools efficiently and consistently, and share your ideas for improvement so our tools work for us! We use Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Personio, Asana and Notion, among others
• Own the data for your positions, and use it effectively to solve challenges and keep key stakeholders updated
• Help us try out new things: we’ll provide budget for pilots (e.g. new job board), as long as you measure and analyze the results, and recommend next steps
• Share your expertise and develop your interests with us. Contribute to process improvement and other key initiatives like hiring manager and interviewer training, DEIB, employer branding, university recruiting, etc.
• Collaborate with People Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding for your candidates. Review onboarding and offboarding trends to identify and apply lessons learned for future hiring projects

About You

Skills & Experience

• You have a strong track record as a TA expert in a high growth startup or scale-up
• You have recruited for a diverse set of functions, ranging from commercial to technical. Plus points for Real Estate + Construction Development experience!
• You are a strategic thinker: you can see the big picture of numa and how it connects with your mission, and you can effectively sell this picture to candidates
• You are articulate and persuasive. You have excellent communication and influencing skills (in English). Fluency in German is preferred, but not required
• You are data oriented. You use numbers to help you identify a problem and design the right solutions.
• You are not afraid to ask “silly” questions or take a critical look at our processes
• You can adapt your style to confidently work with hiring managers and candidates across a range of experience levels and personalities, while still adhering to our core processes and principles.
• You’re comfortable dealing with the highly ambiguous and rapidly evolving needs of a growing company. You will deal with changing priorities and requirements, and guide business leaders in defining “first of its kind” roles at numa
• You identify with our values — especially when it comes to taking extreme ownership, making decisions based on data, and never settling for the status quo

Location

Our preference is to have you working out of our HQ in Berlin, where most of our TA and leadership team is based. With that said, we are open to the right remote candidate.

If you are remote, we will ask you to visit our Berlin HQ for a few days each month. With most of the team in Berlin, we prefer candidates to be working in the same time zone and within a budget friendly travel distance.
