JOB SUMMARY
Customer Support Inventory Coordination involves coordination of the inventory of all computers, printers, thin clients, scanners, and other computer equipment at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and its affiliates. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for physical inventory, new equipment acquisitions, warranty claims and spare parts inventory. The Inventory Coordinator will also be responsible for quarterly reports of all hardware inventory to include PC's, printers, servers, network devices and any other peripheral device and report that inventory for Productivity Index status.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines
- Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization
- Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures
- Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self-education, attends ongoing educational programs)
- Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
- Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver's License.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- General environment: Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels.
- May be required to change from one task to another of different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
- Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
- May be scheduled as needed including overtime
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- 2-year associate degree in computer science or related field; or Vocational Technical Degree in Microcomputer or Networking (Required)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 1 - 2 years’ Experience in a technical support position with specific experience in microcomputer and peripheral warranty and repair work (Preferred)
- 1 - 2 years’ Experience in inventory control and warranty claims (Preferred)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
