Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Flight Engineering Senior Manager (Level L) to support our Noise, Vibration, and Emissions (NVE) organization based in Everett, Washington.

The Noise, Vibration, and Emissions (NVE) organization plays a crucial role in supporting all BCA airplane programs, supply chain, fabrication, customer support, and Boeing Global Services (BGS). As a Senior Manager, you will be dedicated to driving innovation and delivering advanced technology solutions throughout the product lifecycle. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Program, Fabrication, Manufacturing, and Engineering leaders, ensuring the NVE team meets its commitments on design development, reviews, qualifications, and certification. Additionally, you will manage budgets, staffing, and key business health metrics to support the team’s success. You will also demonstrate technical excellence in NVE engineering while being an engaging and motivating people leader.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with Program, Fabrication, Manufacturing, and Engineering leaders on top priorities, RIO management, and technology insertions.

  • Ensures the NVE team meets commitments on design development, design reviews, liaison support, qualifications, and certification issues.

  • Leads the NVE people development strategy and managing first-level managers.

  • Manages and executes to budget, staffing, and metrics that evaluate the health of the business.

  • Inspires and empowers your team through collaboration, communication, and care.

  • Builds and nurtures an inclusive culture by seeking diverse perspectives, encouraging open dialogue, and actively listening to teammates and stakeholders.

  • Ensures an emotionally safe work environment where employees can freely and proactively raise safety, quality, and schedule concerns as soon as they arise.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in Noise, Vibration, and Emissions.

  • 2+ years of experience as a Manager leading engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in team building, developing, and motivating employees.

  • Strong communication skills and experience working with executive leaders.

  • Ability to adapt to a changing statement of work.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:  $165,750 - $224,250
