Salary/Position Classification

  • $13.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10-15 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Capturing, editing, and archiving video content for marketing purposes. Final pieces will - (Essential)
  • Brainstorm and execute concepts for university social media accounts including Instagram and TikTok. - (Essential)
  • Assist University Videographers with video shoot. - (Essential)
  • Assist staff with various office tasks as needed (deliveries, printing, assembly of materials) - (Essential)
  • Will work with other student workers on projects including social media content - (Essential)
  • May serve as a model in marketing shoots for marketing materials - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

  • Willingness to learn
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Applicant will have a basic understanding of cameras and lighting gear and Adobe Premier Pro
  • Applicant will be able to provide a final video product that conforms to brand standards provided by supervisor
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
  • Must be able to meet weekly for team meetings
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
