SALARY RANGE

$25.00/HOURLY

The hiring salary may exceed the maximum posted salary.

 

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is required to work in assigned office or headquarters. This position is not eligible for telework.

 

This is work providing practical nursing services to developmentally disabled individuals at Tacachale. Work is performed under the direction and general supervisoon of a registered nurse, and is reveiwed for compliance, standars and procedures. Works in conjunction with the registered nurse to assure continuity of care and aherence to ICF/IDD standards.

 

Prepares, administers and documents medications and treatments as per nursing policy and procedure. Maintains documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures. Observes, records and reports physical and behavioral responses to medication and treatment. Provides emergency nursing service within the scope of nursing practice. Assists the registered nurse and/or Licensed Independent Practitioner in clinics, diagnostic tests and physical examinations.

 

Conduct an initial assessment and provide appropriate treatment as soon as possible after being notified or becoming aware of an injury or possible injury. Complete Section II of the DDC Incident Report Form in accordance with IM process.

 

Attend interdisciplinary team meetings, special clinics and nursing committees as assigned.
