We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our Position, Navigation & Timing team at Hexagon US Federal. As an intern here, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management, working closely with our team of professionals. You will be expected to assist with day-to-day operations, contribute to ongoing projects, and participate in various tasks that supports the departments goals. Additionally, Interns will participate in weekly speaker series featuring prominent leaders across the organization. This internship will provide you valuable exposure to your field of study, offering you a chance to develop skills, network with professionals, and apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting.
This job is for you if you: Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Business, Management, or Finance. Candidates should possess excellent time management, communication and organization skills, as well as the ability to effectively coordinate multiple project deliverables on-time and on-budget. Desired skills include experience with MS Office applications to include Project, basic knowledge of project lifecycle and planning methodologies, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, growth-focused corporate setting.

Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Assist PM with daily oversight of project teams to ensure successful delivery of key project deliverables on-time and within budget and scope by ensuring timely allocation of resources, coordinating change and procurement requests, and facilitating effective stakeholder communication
- Project Documentation: Generate detailed project documentation to include project plans, baselines, status reports, meeting notes, Gannt charts, cost reports, risk registries, and communication matrixes.
- Risk Management: Develop risk management policies and procedures related to risk identification, qualitative/quantitative assessments, and mitigation strategies
- Quality Management: Monitor quality of program and contract deliverables and evaluate performance metrics by analyzing and reporting data on timelines, project delays, and lessons learned reviews
What we are expecting from you:
- Ability to work an onsite work schedule
- Currently enrolled in an accredited institution’s associate’s or bachelor’s program
- Available 40 hours a week/full-time
- Located nearby our Huntsville, AL corporate office
