Information Security Analyst

The Security Analyst is a key member of Security Operations team and will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security alerts and events. In addition, the Security Analyst will be responsible for researching and analyzing threat intelligence, conducting vulnerability impact assessment and managing security incidents.

This position requires strong analytical and research skills as well as good knowledge of information security concepts, tools and technologies. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, attention to detail and ability to work in cross functional environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install and configure security measures and operate security software
• Test and evaluate new technology
• Perform penetration testing and security preparedness exercises
• Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of IT security requirements
• Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM system
• Ability to respond to information security threats

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in information security
• Experienced with penetration testing and techniques
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities
• Understand patch management
• Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus, DLP. CASB, EDR, Anti-Phishing and IDP/S technologies
• Experience with IAMS & AWS
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows and MAC OS
• Experienced in troubleshooting security software and documenting security issues
• Experience with SIEM systems and threat hunting

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA in Information Systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
• Attention to details and strong research skills

This role is fully remote, however the person must work and reside in the US, ideally available to work EST business hours.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
