About the role
<p> </p>
<p>Körber Supply Chain is looking for a driven and analytical Senior Financial Controller, who strives in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for controlling the majority of the Business Unit cost centers, liaising with technical counterparts, and maintaining the accuracy of the business figures.</p>
<p><br/>
You will be part of the Finance department within Parcel Business Unit based in Lisbon, Portugal and play a key role in reviewing and understanding the financial performance with action-driven reporting and planning to drive and improve the business.<br/>

Your role:<br/>
</p>
<ul>
<li>Perform reviews and analysis of the monthly cost center movements and financial figures, and request corrections were needed to the accounting team.</li>
<li>Liaise with financial counterparts to access the correct figures to forecast while having critical judgement on the information’s provided.</li>
<li>Be the key player in the annual Budget phase, by setting internal deadlines with the several teams whilst providing them with the support needed so that their inputs are accurate and valuable.</li>
<li>Be the key contact in the monthly forecasting process with the financial colleagues from headquarters, by also being the main responsible for the on time and accurate delivery of the monthly forecast of the Parcel Business Unit.</li>
<li>In charge of performing in-depth financial analysis of commercial activities including scenario analysis, profitability, KPI optimization.</li>
<li>Deliver financial input for decision making to management as well as relevant reports and analysis. Support, challenge, and work closely with internal stakeholders on how to optimize the business.</li>
<li>You will support monthly reporting to the management and the Headquarters.</li>
<li>Further development of internal and external reporting</li>
<li>Supporting operational and strategic corporate planning as well as forecasts and ad hoc evaluations</li>

<p><em>Your profile:</em><br/>
</p>
<ul>
<li>Degree in Management, Economics, Finance or Business Administration (mandatory).</li>
<li>Minimum 4 years of experience in similar positions (Business Control, Business Analysis, Audit) in a multinational company (Mandatory).</li>
<li>Positive attitude, team spirit, dynamic and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills, able to structure complex problems, summarize core findings and the capability to explain data and financial analysis.</li>
<li>Natural curiosity and drive to identify ways to challenge the status quo and improve business.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in MS Excel is a must. Experience with SAP is beneficial.</li>
<li>Resilient and goal driven, completes the tasks on time and with great acumen.</li>
<li>Curious and critical thinker, challenges the data provided by internal stakeholders, in order to foster strength on the data that he / she produces.</li>
<li>Good Planning and Organization skills</li>
<li>Detail oriented</li>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese.</li>
