THE JOB:
As a Security Investigator, you will be responsible for observing and monitoring the casino floor for potential weakness.

THE STARTING RATE:
$30 per hour is the starting rate of pay.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Watch the casino floor for theft, cheating, and suspicious behavior.
• Identify players who use tricks to gain an unfair advantage.
• Monitor casino employees to ensure they follow game security procedures.
• Investigate suspicious activities by reviewing footage, interviewing people, and analyzing records.
• Work with the surveillance team and table games staff, providing real-time updates on potential issues.
• Research online to stay informed about the latest fraud tactics and cheating methods.
• Operate surveillance cameras (CCTV) to monitor gaming areas, cash handling spots, and casino employees.
• Record and review surveillance footage, document findings, and save important video evidence.
• Maintain strict confidentiality while handling investigations.
• Prepare reports and keep evidence organized for possible legal action.
• Work with law enforcement and testify in court if needed.
• Conduct interviews with employees and guests involved in investigations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Experience in casino security, investigations, or law enforcement is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot suspicious behavior.
• Comfortable using surveillance cameras and digital recording systems.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work discreetly and handle confidential information.
• Knowledge of casino gaming rules and regulations is helpful.
• Ability to obtain a Maryland Special Police Officer License
• Knowledge with court processes and court procedures

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
