Business Analyst (10-20 Hours / Week)

This is a remote position.

• Collect, organise, and analyse data from various sources to identify trends and insights.
  
• Create and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present findings effectively.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
  
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimise processes and support strategic decisions.
  
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
  
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address operational inefficiencies.
  
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
  
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and recommend innovative solutions.
  
• Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies to improve data quality and accessibility.
  

• A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
  
• Certification in data analytics or business analysis.
  
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a similar analytical role.
  
• Experience working with large datasets and complex systems.
  
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies or experience in a project-based environment.
