We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive intern to assist with competitive pricing data collection for compounded pharmaceutical products in the companion animal, equine, and special veterinary markets. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in the veterinary industry and market research. The position will focus on gathering SKU-level pricing information from competitor compounding pharmacy’s, providing valuable insights to support our business strategies and pricing models.

When will you work?

  • This position will be based in Swedesboro, NJ with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct Competitive Pricing Analysis:
    Collect and document pricing data from competitor websites and other sources, focusing on compounded pharmaceutical products specifically for companion animals, equines, and other specialty veterinary markets.
  • SKU-Level Data Collection:
    Accurately gather and organize SKU-level pricing information for a wide range of compounded products, including ophthalmic, sterile injection, tablet, oral liquids, capsules, trandermals and more.
  • Data Entry & Organization:
    Input collected data into a structured database or spreadsheet, ensuring that the information is accurate, clear, and easily accessible for analysis.
  • Market Research:
    Track and report trends in competitor pricing and product offerings to help identify gaps and opportunities in the market.
  • Assist in Reporting:
    Help prepare reports or summaries that detail findings and provide recommendations based on competitive pricing data.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Review collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness, resolving any discrepancies by re-checking competitor websites or seeking clarification as needed.

 

Who you are:

  • Motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for market research and competitive analysis.
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Veterinary Sciences, or related fields.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Comfortable adapting quickly to new software tools and systems.

 

What you’ve done:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
  • Ability to analyze data and summarize findings in a clear, concise manner.
  • Comfortable navigating a variety of websites and online platforms to gather and analyze information.
