Position:           Club Sol Supervisor     

Department:      Marketing

 

Job Summary:   Assists with oversight of Club Sol shift operations while providing excellent guest service with a focus on Player’s Club members.  Assists with Player’s Club functions, including operations and development, guest database management, merchandise redemption, and promotions. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):

1. Supervises and trains direct reports and works collaboratively with them to design professional development plans that support their continuous learning.
2. Motivates, organizes, and encourages teamwork to ensure productivity targets are met.
3. Monitors the job performance of team members and provides feedback to aid in developing and enhancing skills.
4. Maintains appropriate staffing levels, including preparation of shift schedules; assigns job duties; assists with interviewing and recommending new hires; assists with training; and recommends and delivers corrective action as appropriate.
5. Prepares and/or assists with preparation and delivery of team member evaluations.
6. Keeps supervisor and management team apprised of work status and job related issues.
7. Consults with immediate supervisor to review achievements and discuss needed changes in goals or objectives as well as to ensure that Club Sol performance measures are in support of the department and Sol Casinos.  Reports problems to his/her supervisor.
8. Verifies department logs and summary logs.
9. Oversees Club Sol inventory is adequately maintained with supplies, including adequate vouchers for redemption offers; performs regular inventory audits to track the quality and quantity of inventory; and provides input to supervisor for budgetary planning purposes.
10. Makes sure Point-of-Purchase (POP) displays are changed out at start and end of promotions/events.
11. Assists Club Sol staff and guests with inquiries and problems; responds to guest needs and requests that other Club Sol staff are unable to handle.
12. Walks casino floor and promotes Player’s Club memberships to guests not playing with a card, signs up new players or issues duplicate player cards, and responds to guest questions or requests.
13. Acknowledges, greets, and converses with guests on the gaming floor.
14. Promotes the Gaming Enterprise by interacting with guests in an enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly manner.
15. Creates and issues rewards cards and promotes the Player’s Club program and related promotions.
16. Performs data entry on new or changed membership information. 
17. Issues point vouchers and complimentary as designated by guest account information.
18. Meets department goals and quotas.
19. Ensures accuracy of data entry records and maintains confidentiality of guest information.
20. Ensures the confidentiality of information and protection of guest rewards.  Exercises appropriate discretion in producing and providing information from the database.   
21. Produces and delivers club material.
22. Executes Sol Casinos’ promotions.
23. Assists in creating and developing Sol Casinos’ promotions.
24. Maintains a constant awareness of Sol Casinos’ services, promotions, and events.
25. Helps facilitate special events and slot promotions.
26. Fosters team work by working collaboratively with coworkers and ensuring that work is completed that brings credit to the team.
27. Adheres to applicable regulatory, departmental, and Gaming Enterprise policies and procedures.
28. Presents a well-groomed appearance at all times.
29. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of Sol Casinos’ services, promotions, and events.
2. Knowledge of applicable regulatory, departmental, and Sol Casinos’ policies and procedures.
3. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
4. Computer proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications as well as a player tracking system.
