At BlueOval SK, we will lead the transformation of the electric vehicle (EV) battery business through partnership (Joint Venture formed by Ford and SK On) to provide products and processes to increase our customers’ experience. As the future of BlueOval SK, you will help lead the battery revolution by working alongside our teams as we build the batteries required for electric vehicle business excellence.
Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. These brand-new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Ford’s 100-years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK On’s 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the world’s best battery manufacturer.
About the Opportunity
The IT Cyber Security Team Manager at BlueOval SK will contribute to the overall cyber security of BlueOval SK system and information assets by leading a team of professionals and collaborating with leaders across the organization.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
- Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
- Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations
- Managing security projects and improvement in coordination with other departments
- Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting period audits and investigations.
- Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
- Manage testing and awareness campaigns and conducting follow-up and training for the organization
- Build alerting, dashboards, and reports to identify data loss and other security events and incidents.
- Managing risk throughout the organization via technical controls and remediation plans with other departments
- Conduct security applications and architecture reviews.
- Creating easily understandable guides, procedures, and documentation
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
- Leads and trains other specialist on security systems and processes
- Leads team effort by accomplishing related results and delegating to other specialists.
- Ensure cyber security compliance by enforcing policy and working with internal and external audits and legal teams.
- Communicating complex, technical ideas with management and non-technical staff
- Ensure security system installation, management, and operation
- Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Network Layers, etc.)
- Knowledge of windows and Linux command skill
- Knowledge of security concerns in both and IT and OT environment
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field, or supplementary work experience
- 4 - 6+ years direct hands-on experience with a mix of incident management and response, security operation, access management, and penetration testing methodologies
- Experience working in securing operation technologies as well as information systems
- Project management, vendor-onboarding, and process improvement experience or certifications (ITIL, PMP, etc.)
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth and common security elements.
- Programming and scripting fundamentals
- Holds certifications such as: Security+, CISA, CEH
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
- Proficiency with any of the following; Anti-Virus, HIPS, ID/PS, Full Packet Capture, Host-Based Forensics, Network Forensics, and RSA Security.
- In-depth knowledge of architecture, engineering, and operations of at least one enterprise SIEM platform (e.g. Nitro/McAfee Enterprise Security Manager, ArcSight, QRadar, LogLogic, Splunk).
- Understanding of mobile technology and OS (i.e. Android, iOS, Windows), VMware technology, and Unix and basic Unix commands.
- Experience in IT security solution operation
- Experience in IT Network operation
- Experience in operating endpoint security solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in cybersecurity, or related field is a plus.
- Holds certifications such as: CISSP, CISA, CASP, ISO 27001
