Senior Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE)

LinQuest is seeking a Senior-level Systems Engineer to support model-based systems engineering for Space Control programs in Albuquerque, NM.

The Senior Systems Engineer will support the Program Executive Officer for Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (PEO/SDACP) for the Space Systems Center (SSC/SZ). The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining requirements, interfaces, test and verification plans and system integration. They will also support building a model-based systems engineering/digital engineering capability at the SCI and SAP levels. These models will document system performance requirements and interfaces and other constraints.

Responsibilities: 

• Interface with the customer and provide systems, digital engineering and modeling support that includes technical and programmatic analysis/assessment related to requirements for current and future innovative Space Control programs.
• Conduct and participate in IPTs and Working Groups that address the design/development, production, and integration of Space Control systems.
• Facilitate/develop/present resolution of issues related to system integration.
• Develop and maintain interface requirements for Space Control programs.
• Develop system verification plans and trace verification plans to test events.
• Develop system integration plans for end-to-end system capability.
• Collect, analyze, and report on data collected during system integration events.

Required Skills and Experience: 

• BS in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant technical experience in aerospace.
• 5+ years in space system requirements verification, test and evaluation.
• Experience with MBSE/Digital Engineering and tools, such as: Cameo, Sparx EA, MATLAB.
• Independent problem solving with a variety of systems engineering abilities, including knowledge and experience in requirements development, verification, and test.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills and customer relationship skills.
• Must be an independent problem solver, comfortable in a fast paced environment and be able to quickly adapt to emerging requirements and changing priorities.
• An active TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience with classified programs.
• Space system design, development, production, integration & test, and/or certification experience .
