The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.


Position Summary: The Regional Deputy Director supports the fundraising operations for the DCCC finance department in their designated region. They assist the Regional Finance Director in executing the regional fundraising plan and play a key role in organizing events and managing donor relationships. Additionally, they oversee donor meeting preparations and provide administrative support as needed.


This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.  


Responsibilities:

  • Assist regional finance director in the day-to-day fundraising operations for the DCCC Finance department;
  • Develop and execute all fundraising events for assigned region, in partnership with regional finance director;
  • Manage relationships, on DCCC’s behalf, with Members of Congress as well as the donor community;
  • Prepare donor meeting and event materials as necessary;
  • Other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the Finance team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one cycle of political fundraising experience;
  • Travel is required for this position;
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Commitment to the election of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives;
  • Familiarity with Democratic political actors and landscape;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and NGP;
